Hi David,
I’m sure something will come out in the future, as they always seem to progress and advance with things.
I haven’t heard of anything at the moment though, saying that I don’t always get a great advance warning of new products. Lol.
The explorer 1500 battery pack system is a damn good unit though with a lot of technical control and adjustments which even the studio packs don’t have.
If I we’re you I would probably still get one, they are solid units. :) I have one myself. :)
